Terms of Use

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into an agreement to use Let Me Drive You. You may not use the service if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.

2. What Let Me Drive You provides

Let Me Drive You provides technology that helps passengers discover independent local drivers, view driver-supplied profiles, request rides, and receive ride updates.

Let Me Drive You is not a transportation carrier, taxi company, limousine company, employer, agent, or insurer of any driver. Drivers independently decide whether to offer or accept rides and are responsible for the transportation they provide.

Profiles and other information may be supplied by users. Unless we expressly state otherwise, we do not guarantee that we have verified a person’s identity, background, license, insurance, vehicle, qualifications, or statements.

3. Accounts and contact information

You must provide accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for your password, access to your devices, and activity performed through your account. Notify us through the contact form if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

You may not impersonate another person, create misleading profiles, transfer an account without permission, or use another person’s contact information without authorization.

4. Driver responsibilities

Each driver is solely responsible for determining and continuously satisfying all requirements that apply to their services, including licenses, permits, registrations, insurance, inspections, taxes, vehicle condition, accessibility statements, and local transportation rules.

Drivers must keep their profile, vehicle, service area, availability, rates, and contact information accurate. A driver must not accept or perform a ride when tired, impaired, uninsured, unqualified, legally prohibited, or unable to complete it safely.

5. Ride requests, prices, and payment

A ride request is not confirmed until the driver accepts it. Availability can change, and we do not guarantee that a particular driver will accept or complete a request.

Drivers set their own rates. Distance, duration, and price shown by the website are estimates based on available route information and driver settings. Actual conditions, route changes, waiting time, tolls, parking, or an agreement between the passenger and driver may affect the final amount.

Let Me Drive You currently does not collect or process payment for rides. Passengers and drivers are responsible for agreeing on and completing payment directly using a method they both accept.

6. Cancellations and ride changes

Passengers and drivers may cancel when the cancellation option is available in their account. Both parties should communicate material changes promptly. Repeated misuse of booking or cancellation tools may result in restricted access.

7. Email, SMS, and push notifications

We may send transactional messages about account security, verification, ride requests, confirmations, cancellations, reminders, and completed rides. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of optional SMS updates or HELP for help. Notification settings may also be adjusted in your account.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use Let Me Drive You to break the law, threaten or harm another person, discriminate unlawfully, harass, defraud, scrape data, introduce malicious code, interfere with the service, evade security controls, send spam, or arrange prohibited goods or activity.

Passengers and drivers must treat one another respectfully and follow applicable safety and transportation laws. Review our Safety guidance before a ride.

9. Profile content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You give Let Me Drive You a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, resize, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, secure, promote, and improve the service.

You must have the right to upload the content and must not submit private, infringing, deceptive, unlawful, or harmful material. We may remove content that violates these Terms or creates risk for users or the service.

10. Service availability and account action

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features and may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, address security risks, or enforce these Terms. The service may occasionally be unavailable or contain errors.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Let Me Drive You is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or the conduct of any user.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Let Me Drive You and its owners, officers, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, personal disputes, or the acts or omissions of passengers or independent drivers.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations. In those jurisdictions, these provisions apply only to the extent permitted by law.

12. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Let Me Drive You harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, your transportation activity, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service changes. We will post the revised version here and update the effective date. Your continued use after the revised Terms take effect means you accept them.
