Payment information
Let Me Drive You currently does not collect or process payment-card information or payment for rides. A passenger and driver may arrange payment directly using a method they both accept.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- create, verify, secure, and maintain accounts;
- publish driver profiles and help passengers find suitable local drivers;
- calculate routes, availability, timing, and estimated prices;
- create and manage ride requests, confirmations, changes, cancellations, and history;
- send account, booking, safety, support, email, SMS, and push notifications;
- remember preferences and improve usability;
- respond to support requests and investigate errors, misuse, fraud, or security concerns;

4. Public driver profiles
Active driver pages are public and may be indexed by search engines. Public information can include the driver’s chosen name, last initial, photo, city, state, languages, biography, vehicle, rating, service description, availability, rates, and personal profile link.
A driver’s phone number is not displayed to a visitor who is not signed in. Do not place private information in a public biography, profile link, image, or other public field.
6. Your choices and controls
You may update profile information and notification preferences in your account. Push permission can be changed in your browser or device settings. Marketing email, if offered, will include an unsubscribe option. Transactional or security communications may continue when necessary to provide the service.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information by using the contact form. We may need to verify the request and may retain information when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, disputes, or legitimate recordkeeping.
7. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain ride and account records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal obligations, and protect users. Retention periods vary by the type of information and reason it is kept. Backup copies and security logs may remain for a limited period after deletion from active systems.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information, including encrypted connections, password hashing, session controls, verification, access restrictions, and logging. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
9. Children’s privacy
